      Hi 732amph45 ,

      Great question!!!
Engineering is important because it is used in every area of our life.
Without engineering society would not have the tools, processes, devices and technology needed to function.

If it wasn’t for engineering I believe we would still be living in caves, with no cars ( or any transport) , no bridges, no planes, no way of manufacturing food or producing energy etc.

Can you image that and what would you miss most?

      Hi!

Engineering is important because we use our knowledge to help solve human problems. So our benefit to society is that we help improving the quality of life in general!
