• Question: Why do your ears hurt when you're landing or taking off in a plane?

      It’s the change of pressure in your ear; lots of pressure is put on your ear drum. If you suck on a sweet or move your jaw, air goes into your ear so there’s less of a change of pressure and it doesn’t hurt.
