      Dear Cole,

I got to meet James May because I volunteered to help out a technology competition in London. He was one of the judges. He came to speak to the team I helped about their invention – they wanted to use a thermoelectric generator to turn heat into useful energy. It was a very good idea! If you take part in events, you get to do interesting things and meet interesting people.

I met people from NASA at a conference. Dr Raymond Corky Clinton Junior (the most American sounding name ever) wished me good luck with my job! He is a director at NASA so it meant a lot as he is very very important. Some of his colleagues told me about a rocket they’re building to go to Mars that will have a cargo bay bigger than the International Space Station. Imagine how much cargo that will hold! You’d probably need it all to go to Mars.

I also work with people from the European Space Agency as they want to do 3D printing in space and they think I can help. I hope they send me up to space!
