I would estimate about £2-7 million each. But this changes.

      Why does it change?

In terms of economics, for most products, when you produce these in superlarge scales, things get cheaper.

This is why you can buy a pen that was made in China, shipped all the way to Southampton, then trucked into your closest supermarket and it still costs 20p. It’s because millions and millions of these pens were made and collectively, each single item is cheap.

It is the same with wind turbines or wind farms. The biggest farm I have worked on had 47 turbines. But, I have seen farms with over 100 turbines! As these become larger and larger, generally, the cost goes down. So on a farm with 100 turbines will cost around £2 million each. But if you build just a few, it could be £7 million each.

As technology gets better, these costs also go down! So even these costs might be outdated because of some technological advance that I have not yet been told about!
