Talking to people about my work is more important! I hope I can show why engineering is important, what jobs are out there in engineering and all the options you have.

Would you like to do Engineering?

      Hi CarBonaK,

It is important because I really enjoy bringing my work to students your age and the money would help me do that. I wish I had the opportunity you have to ask these cool questions to engineers before starting uni.

      Hi CarBOnak,

£500 is important as i could use it to improve my outreach activity. i could change the look of disappointment i get now when i tell those who participate in my activity that they cant take home the little solar car they make to excitement when i can give them some form of solar powered gadget that they can play with when they go home.

I would like to be able to build a model to show how we have to manage our energy usage as we move to Wind and Solar power. This is a really complicated topic but really interesting and is going to be a problem we need to solve over the next 10 to 20 years.
