• Question: How do you think you could improve on your projects?

      Maybe we could do it more safely. Maybe we could do it cheaper. Maybe we could do it faster. Maybe all of them.

      When we finish a project we have a lessons learned session where we look at what could have gone better and how we can change the way we work next time.

      Hi 323amph45,

      I need to get better at project management. Keeping track of the status of the work, managing my resources (money, machines and people that can help me), time and deadlines is an art that I’m still learning to manage.

      Great question engineeringisfun (cool name by the way). All projects can be improved and when I present I always have a section called ‘Further work’. In the case of our remote lab, I would love to include live audio with the webcam feed so that student can hear (along side seeing ) the changing of the gears and switches when they conduct the experiment. This is on my to do list :-).
