      Yes! This is really exciting. However, powder based additive manfacturing (another name for 3D printing) has problems with microgravity – it doesn’t really work. The powder has to be kept stable which it wouldn’t be in microgravity, it would float around.

      I hope they choose wire based additive manufacturing, that I work on, instead. They already use it with cement on Earth to make houses. I’m not sure how they’d make wire from materials found in space, though. We’ll see!
